The owners of the Lake House are David and Lucille Burke, two beautiful people who bought and furnished this house for families just like yours. Families that need to get away from the stresses of city life. Families that need to reconnect. Families that are seeking a week or two of fun in the country sun, on a lake, and surrounded by nature.

My name is Laura. I don’t own the LakeHouse, but I am staying here, with my own family, while we rebuild our own family home just 40 miles away. Within just a week of staying here I knew there was something special about this house, the surrounding land, and what the view alone can do for a person’s mental state. I’d like to share that with you. Our time here. How we spend our days. How we grow and heal as a family.
